Federa DOT Inspections
The US Department of Transportation identifies certain individuals who are qualified to inspect equipment and establishes the inspection guidelines. Our team is qualified to complete these Federal inspections.
State DOT Inspection
The State of Minnesota qualifies certain individuals to perform inspections on equipment registered in Minnesota with a gross vehicle weight greater than 26,000 . The State requires annual inspection by law and we are certified to complete those inspections.
Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PM)
Preventative Maintenance is an entirely different expectation. Most preventative maintenance inspections are checklists we receive from our customers outlining the items they desire to be inspected above and beyond the DOT inspection criteria. A PM inspection helps prevent breakdowns and fends off problems before they start. We have a PM checklist for Semi Trucks, Semi Trailers, Tankers, Hoppers, and Trash / Recycling equipment, however most fleets prefer their own standards. You pick, your checklist or ours!
