All Things Reefers
A majority of the work we complete is on reefer trailers. We can help you with projects big and small.

Preventative Maintenance
Reefers need love! Staying on top of services reefer is the best way to prevent breakdowns. Our techs prevent problems and will perform preventative maintenance as requested. Some companies have scheduled fleet maintenance and some companies complete preventative work when parts start to wear.
Engine Repairs
Breakdowns happen, and usually at the worst time. We can absolutly help you get back up and running. We keep a team member available 24 hours a day to respond to your breakdown needs.

Electric Reefers
Electric reefers and electric standby reefers are becoming more common with the poloution and noise ordinances in larger cities. Many trailers stay running on electric in a stationary location, or while parked in a dock. It is a completely different system and requires different parts to operate an electric reefer. We actually own and lease electric reefers and are very familiar with the functionality. We work on both ER-230s and ER-460s which are typically identified as a “C” model reefer. If you need an electric reefer or if you need an electric reefer repaired, come see our team.
Sensors and Wiring
Everything inside an engine is powered by fuel and electric. It is common to see a reefer with a bad sensor or wire. It is important to test those systems correctly and ensure accurate diagnostic to prevent further problems or “just throwing parts” at it to make it work. We have a great team of savvy techs to stay on top of all the ohms so you do not have to.

Starters, Alternators & More
Many repairs on a reefer are actually normal parts that have just performed to their maximum capasity. Codes on the system are often a great way to see what part is starting to fail, or has failed.
Gelled Fuel
Unfortunatly gelled fuel clogging up a filter and choking a reefer engine is extremely common in the winter time. Winters in Minnesota can be brutal and diesel fuel needs to be treated with chemical to prevent the filter from turning into a gummy mess. Just in case it happens to you, we can fix it.

Aluminum Welding
Loading a trailer with a forklift can cause damage if it cuts into the aluminum kickplate exposing insulation. Once the insulation is exposed, the insulation can be quickly compramised, in some cases even reducing the R value. We can patch up the aluminum without replacing the entire kickplate to get you rolling quickly. We are able to complete the full kickplate replacement as well. We are happy to assist either way.
Interior Kemlite
Loading a trailer with a forklift can cause damage if it cuts into the skin or interior wall of a reefer trailer exposing insulation. Once the insulation is exposed, the insulation can be quickly compramised, in some cases even reducing the R value. We can patch up the kemlite skin without replacing the entire wall skin to get you rolling quickly. We are able to complete the full wall replacement as well. We are happy to assist either way.

Panel Repair
Stuff happens… Sometimes the outside panels of a reefer trailer are damaged beyond a patchable repair. We can often times patch the metal on the outside similar to how we patch the inside, however, occationally one ore more panels actually need to be removed and replaced. We can and have done that repair he. e at MN19 on many occations.
